Terms & Condition of Sale

Sovereign Aviation’s (“seller” “we” “us”) website(s) (our “site” or “sites”) and related products and/or services are made to “you” the “buyer” in good faith and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of sale (collectively, the TAC’s or TOC’s) as posted on our Sites.  Please ensure that you read and understand the TAC’s before placing any order on www.sovereignaviation.co.uk or by electronic mail or verbally on the telephone or in person at our locations.

This website is owned and operated by Sovereign Aviation Ltd and all transactions undertaken on this website are the responsibility of Sovereign Aviation Ltd.

Sovereign Aviation reserves the right to make changes to the website content as it sees fit and in accordance with updates from the suppliers of the products and/or services we provide.  If you do not agree with any of the changes then you must stop using the site and report and issues to us immediately.  Any changes made to the site after you have placed an order will not affect that order, unless any such change would cause any significant issues or we are required to make changes by law.


Returns & Exchanges Policy

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER UNDER THE CONSUMER CONTRACTS (INFORMATION, CANCELLATION AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES) REGULATIONS 2013

If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICACRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us provided you give us written notice.

Right to Cancel under the ICACRs

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day after the day on which you (or someone you nominate, other than a carrier) receives the last of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us by letter to: Client Support, The Hanger, 1 Fitzwilliam Leys, Higham Ferrers, Northants, NN10 8LY or by email to: clientsupport@sovereignaviation.co.uk

For orders cancelled under the ICACRs, we will issue you with a full refund including the shipping cost paid by you. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

(i) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any of the goods supplied; or

(ii) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide us with evidence that the good have been returned; or

(iii) if no goods were supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your cancellation.

We will make reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.  In the event that we have sent goods to you and you have cancelled your order, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest. If we do not receive the cancelled goods back, we may arrange to have them collected from you at your cost. 

You shall return cancelled orders to: Sovereign Aviation, The Hanger, 1 Fitzwilliam Leys, Higham Ferrers, Northants, NN10 8LY without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from day on which you communicate your cancellation of the contract to us. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

As an alternative to using your rights under the ICACRs, you may prefer to return or exchange items using our returns and exchanges collection service. In the first instance please contact us by email at clientsupport@sovereignaviation.co.uk after receiving your request we will then call you to discuss your return or exchange. Please return faulty goods to Sovereign Aviation, The Hanger, Fitzwilliam Leys, Higham Ferrers, Northants, NN10 8LY for repair or replacement. Should any of our products fail to meet your requirements, they may be returned within 30 days for a full refund providing they are unused and in their original packaging. We also recommend that customers return items on a trackable service as Sovereign Aviation cannot be liable for lost parcels when returning to us. Goods will be refunded within 30 days.

When purchasing goods such as computer software, it is the duty of the customer to make sure that what you have ordered is compatible with your computer system or software. If you are returning an item for replacement you will be charged postage and packing for the return of the correct item. All products purchased from Sovereign Aviation are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. This excludes videos, DVD's and computer software, which can only be returned for replacement if faulty.

Special order items have a re-stocking of 25%


Pricing

Prices shown on the Site are in GBP or Euros and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate unless you have selected an alternative country where VAT is not chargeable.  From time to time, prices are subject to change in response to currency exchange rate changes, markdowns and other commercial factors. The price applicable to your order will be the price current at the time your order is accepted. Sovereign Aviation pay special attention to our pricing, but sometimes goods maybe priced incorrectly. If an item's price is lower than our quoted price, we will charge the lower amount and deliver the item to you. If an item's correct price is higher than our quoted price, we will at our discretion honour the lower price. Sometimes we may not be aware of the price difference and therefore you will be charged the higher price, should this happen and you inform us of the discrepancy we will refund you the difference. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.


Delivery

UK Delivery is within normal office hours usually within 1 to 5 working days from receipt of the order. If for any reason, we cannot deliver your order within this time period we will contact you immediately to inform you of the new delivery date, if this doesn't suit you, you may cancel your order. We will not charge your credit/debit card until items are despatched. When paying for an order by Credit/Debit card, we reserve the right to request that it is despatched to the billing address of the card holder. If this presents a problem we can also accept payment by bank transfer, further details available on request.

Overseas Customers: Should part of your order be out of stock, we will hold the order. At the same time, we will contact you by e-mail to advise you of the situation. The remaining items can then be placed on back order, although this will incur an additional postage charge. Alternatively, they can be removed from the order and then re-ordered on another occasion.

When ordering goods from overseas, please be advised that you are responsible for the import duties/taxes in your country. You may wish to check with your local authorities what these will be prior to placing your order.

Sovereign Aviation will notify you if an item is no longer available and offer substitute goods where possible. If you do not wish to accept the substituted goods, then you may cancel your order.


Hazardous Goods

Certain goods such as Liferafts and some Aerospace Chemicals are classed as hazardous for export purposes. Thus, on receipt of an order with these types of items in it, we may have to contact you to discuss an additional charge to cover the cost of the Hazardous Packaging Requirements.


International Exports

We ship internationally every single day and currently ship to over 100 countries World-Wide. However, due to international sanctions we are unfortunately at this time unable to export to the following countries: Iran, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Cuba and Burma.

In addition, there are several other countries with restrictions on export which may require that we obtain an Export License before shipping the goods. The list of countries are as follows; Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, China, Congo, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Cape Verde, Eritrea, Gambia, Ghana, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Pakistan and Taiwan.


ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

In order to make purchases on the Site you will be required to provide your personal details. In particular, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.

The Site is available only to individuals and others who meet Sovereign Aviation terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to Sovereign Aviation, whose applications are acceptable to Sovereign Aviation and who have authorised Sovereign Aviation to process a charge or charges on their credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. Sovereign Aviation reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

By making an offer to purchase merchandise you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and where Sovereign Aviation feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties, including but not limited to your credit/debit card number or credit reports (including credit reports for your spouse if you reside in a community property jurisdiction), to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit/debit card, to obtain an initial credit/debit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Furthermore, you agree that we may use Personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have certain rights under the law. In England, these include:

1)      That any products you order through this Site will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will conform to any description given on this Site;

2)      Certain remedies if a product is defective; and

3)      A right to cancel any order for a product within 14 days after the date of receipt of the product, and receive a full refund even if it is not defective (see Cancelling your order above).
